Denise has developed and directed children's choirs for more than three decades. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Towson University in Maryland and a Master of Education degree in Music Education from the University of Maryland.
Her career in Music Education was spent in the Baltimore County Public School System in four different middle school Music Departments as well as a two-year position as Teacher Mentor for beginning music teachers. Although mentoring new teachers was extremely satisfying work, her true love is working with beginning singers and choirs of all ages.
Denise also developed and directed her home church Youth Choir for over 15 years. After a short "break" from teaching during her adjustment to retired life and move to Berkeley Springs in October of 2005, she is delighted to be working with children once again. Denise also enjoys singing with the Living Springs Chorale.
