LOCAL CHOIRS TO BEGIN REHEARSALS FOR SPRING CONCERT SEASON

BERKELEY SPRINGS, West Va., January 14, 2008 – The Community Choir, Inc. today announced that spring season rehearsals for the Sleepy Creek Children’s Choir, a children and youth chorale under the direction of Denise Cline, and the Living Springs Chorale, a mixed voice ensemble under the direction of Lydia Walker, will begin this month.

Sleepy Creek Children’s Choir
The Sleepy Creek Children’s Choir will hold registration for the choir’s spring season at 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 24 at The Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 97 S. Mercer Street in Berkeley Springs, West Va. Registration is $10 per child or $15 per family. New members ages 5 – 13 are invited to join this growing group of enthusiastic young choristers. The choir will hold their first rehearsal following registration on January 24. Rehearsals will take place every Thursday afternoon, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. as the group prepares for their first full-length concert on April 19 at Union Chapel United Methodist Church. Living Springs Chorale
The Living Springs Chorale will kick off rehearsals for their spring season at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29 at The Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 97 S. Mercer Street in Berkeley Springs, West Va. Local adult musicians with an interest in performing sacred and secular music are encouraged to join the Living Springs Chorale as they prepare for their first concert of the spring season, to be held 3 p.m. on April 27 at the Berkeley Springs High School.
